Meet GENIE - the world’s first innovative AI-powered research agent built on the OMOP data platform, designed to transform the way researchers initiate, plan, and advance retrospective data research studies.

GENIE helps researchers easily and quickly navigate the Kinneret database, which contains rich and comprehensive clinical information (including diagnoses, procedures, medications, laboratory tests, vital signs, allergies, and more) on approximately 7 million patients from 7 medical centers:

  • Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh)
  • Tzafon Medical Center (Poriya)
  • Galilee Medical Center (Nahariya)
  • Bnai Zion Medical Center
  • Barzilai Medical Center
  • Hillel Yaffe Medical Center
  • Ziv Medical Center

Through natural language conversation in English, GENIE conducts an intelligent dialogue with researchers, asks guiding questions, refines research criteria, and provides a rapid estimation of the potential study population - enabling researchers to assess feasibility before investing significant time and resources.

Following the feasibility stage, GENIE also supports the next phases of research advancement, including identifying relevant collaborators, opening a research environment, and driving the process forward until the study is fully launched.

In summary, GENIE enables researchers to streamline processes, expand collaborations, and transform research ideas into real-world studies quickly, efficiently, and in a data-driven manner.
