OMOP Research Model

OMOP – Common Data Model

The Kineret project gathers information collected over many years, with a single purpose: to serve as a quality, dependable database of practical value to researchers and entrepreneurs. Kineret allows for data research and the development of solutions and predictive models in multiple spheres – including demographics, clinical data (medical records – EMR, hospitalizations, surgeries, diagnoses, procedures, vitals, risk factors, medication, imaging, lab tests, and more), management data, operational data, and more.

The information managed at Kineret falls into two categories:

  • Structured information – Much of the accessible information has been mapped by OHDSI's international OMOP model. The OMOP model was designed using knowledge gathered worldwide by healthcare researchers
  • Unstructured information – This includes all other information: free text data, financial data, images, audio, PDFs, data from devices, and more (This data will be extracted after the needs are examined)
